Light – {Advent}

Christmas is now just a few days away—a time when our preparations come to an end, and we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

This year, here in the Southern Hemisphere, the longest day of the year fell just before Christmas. It served as a reminder: that even after the darkest times, the light breaksthrough.

Light pierces the darkness. Just as sunlight stretches across our day, holding back the shadows, it reminds us of the Light of the World. The light that prevents the darkness from overwhelming us, even in the midst of life’s challenges and hardships.

It’s a powerful reassurance that the Light of the World has come. And one day, there will be no more night, no more darkness.

“Night will be no more, nor will they need light from lamp or sun, for the Lord God shall give them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.”

Revelation 22:5

May this season fill you with the hope and joy of the light that overcomes all darkness.
