Chapters.

Chapters. It signals both continuity and change — the turning of a page. Life, like a well-written book, unfolds in chapters. Some are exhilarating, some exhausting. Some feel too short, others drag on. Some we’d rather skip.

It’s easy to understand why hard seasons end — we pray for relief, we welcome the breakthrough. But when sweet seasons close — relationships that nourished us, jobs that fulfilled us, roles that gave us identity — it can feel like loss, not progress.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Seasons come and go — even good ones. And while endings can be painful, they often mark the beginning of something new God is preparing.

When a chapter ends, it’s easy to feel lost. But Hebrews 12:2 calls Jesus the “author and perfecter of our faith.” He knows the whole story — even the parts we can’t yet see.

Maybe you’re in a chapter you didn’t expect. Or standing at the edge of a transition, unsure what’s next. Know this: God does some of His best work in the in-between. In the waiting.

So if you’re in transition, trust the Author. He’s not finished.
