Because God’s writing your story and He never leaves you alone in your story, and His perfect love absorbs all your fear and His perfect grace carries all your burdens, and your story is a happily ever after because Christ bought your happily ever after so you always know how this story ends:
Ann Voskamp
This quote popped up in my social memories today. I’m not sure what prompted me to have posted it to my feed six years ago, but today it was the most timely and pertinent word.
You see, today, after seven years to the day, our time as a family at the Upper Room Church ended. To what new church home we do not know, to what job my husband will do next, we do not know. All we knew was in faith to take this step. We can but trust God in His leading for the next step.
And so often in life, as we strain ourselves to peer into our future, we find that God has already left us with a word, an encouragement, a scripture. Like dropped bread crumbs or pebbles in a forest, showing the way, if we just look.
When I posted that quote on my social media feed, I had no idea how appropriate and encouraging it would be to me six years later. God knew though. A little pebble to show the way home.
Our story is in God’s hands and so yes it is a happily ever after.
His purposes to perform. PTL! A big encouragement to me also. Thank you Pip. Love Judy
